COVID-19 Update for Tattenhall Marina

From July 2021

Following the recent government announcements on the easing of Coronavirus restrictions on the 19th July, we would like to update you on changes which we will be making and those which remain.
Whilst the Government have lifted several of the COVID-19 legal restrictions they had put in place, they have also issued guidance to businesses with the expectation that they remain supportive of those restrictions
We appreciate the anticipation for life to get back to pre-Covid measures, however with an increasing infection rate, the pandemic is still very much at play and the responsibility to keep one another safe lies upon us all.
With this in mind, we want to reassure you that we have taken the decision to retain many of the health and safety procedures adopted as a result of the pandemic. You will find that many of the COVID-19 notices, capacity limits and distancing indicators remain in place, this is important in helping us continue to protect against the spread of the disease.
Please observe the following guidance when visiting us and keep up to date with the latest government advice

Face coverings
The requirement to wear face coverings remains in place, although no longer compulsory, the safety and protection of our staff and customers remains our priority.
The government expects and recommends that people continue to wear face coverings in crowded, enclosed spaces, therefore when visiting any of our facilities or offices, we kindly request that you continue wearing a face covering (unless exempt) and respect social distancing.

Hand sanitiser stations are located throughout our facility buildings and at entry and exit points, we kindly ask that you use them before entering, during your visit and upon leaving.
Social Distancing
Whilst there is now no legal requirement to maintain social distancing, we encourage you to be respectful and mindful of others and our team members. You will see that distancing markers remain in place as well as maximum room occupancies.

Check in
We will continue to display the NHS COVID-19 QR code posters in support of the test and Trace Programme. It is no longer a legal requirement for visitors to check in using the NHS app however we kindly ask that you do so.

We ask that you pay contactless, online or over the phone wherever possible.

We will retain the use of protective screens at desks and counters to provide an extra level of protection to both yourselves and our staff.

We have increased and enhanced our cleaning procedures. We will continue to use fogging machines which provide a higher level of sanitisation of facilities alongside enhanced cleaning of high touch points.
Facilities may be closed more often to allow for our team to carry out cleaning duties safely.

Increased ventilation and the promotion of the flow of air throughout buildings can reduce the risk of the virus spreading indoors. You will notice that windows and doors are left open, please leave them as you find them to encourage air flow through buildings.

We have now opened up additional facilities such as toilets and showers however we ask that you respect social distancing and capacity limits when using them which is to prevent overcrowding.
Where possible please use your own on-board facilities to help manage demand for toilets and shower facilities.

Symptomatic or Isolating
You must not visit the marina if you display symptoms of COVID-19, have tested positive, are part of a household isolation or if you have been advised or told to self-isolate.
If you have become symptomatic whilst visiting a marina or within 48 hours if visiting, please notify us immediately.
If you do need to isolate and have concerns about your boat in your absence, please get in touch and we can carry out checks on your boat in your absence.
