Named after the historic Chester Castle only 20 minutes away from the marina, Chester is a 27 foot steel narrowboat with a maximum 8 person capacity.
Purpose built for day boat hire, it comes fully equipped with the necessary safety equipment as well as basic facilities to enable a comfortable day’s cruising.
The boat includes a small galley (kitchen), on-board toilet and seating area to accommodate 8 people. The front deck has a fixed dining table, ideal for eating, drinking and socialising and has roll up glazed covers to the front deck area to make the best of the sunshine whenever possible. A small radiator keeps the cabin warm should it be a colder day. Basic crockery, cutlery and glasses are on board for 8 people together with a small fridge.

Your day boat will be available at a time specified on your booking confirmation, between 9am and 1.30pm. You will then have time to explore the delights of the canal, perhaps calling at a local pub for lunch, before returning at your allotted time between 12.30pm and 5pm.
You will be given full instruction on the use, handling, and safety features of your craft.
